Destination weddings are a much cooler trend than the princess marriages dreamed up by previous generations. A destination wedding allows the bridal party, friends and family to celebrate the union in a retreat atmosphere, enjoying plenty of social time before and after the ceremony in an exotic location. There are practical considerations, though, when it comes to planning a wedding far from home. Legal requirements, licensing and budget concerns scare some couples away, but these can be managed fairly easily with a little research.

Legal recognition in the couple’s home country is probably the most important consideration when planning a destination wedding. Make sure that the local government will acknowledge the union, even though the ceremony took place elsewhere. At worst, a couple can still have their dream wedding, albeit with a quick stop with the local authorities for an “official” marriage later.

Residency restrictions at the destination may be an important consideration, as well as mandatory waiting periods following a divorce. In St. Maarten, for example, brides must wait at least 306 days after their divorce in order to remarry. Some countries and U.S. States require a couple to be residents of the state for a certain period of time before the ceremony. It’s important to research the legal residency requirements and waiting periods, if applicable, before setting a date for a marriage abroad.

Couples should also plan far enough in advance to be sure guests are able to schedule travel and accommodations. If it’s important to have everyone at the same hotel, ask about reserving a block of rooms for the party. Often, this can mean that the bridal suite is complimentary, or that guests get access to a banquet room or even dinner for free. If the hotel doesn’t mention any kind of incentive, ask about the options available.

Health requirements are also important. Some countries require visitors to prove immunity to certain diseases, via immunizations. When traveling to a new area, couples are faced with unfamiliar bacteria, germs and viruses that their bodies may not have developed immunity against yet. Their home country may also require that travelers returning from a certain destination be free of symptoms or proven immune.

Budgeting for a destination wedding is often the easy part, depending upon currency exchange rates. A wedding abroad may be less expensive than having one in the states. Be sure that guests are aware of currency exchange rates, as well. But legal and health restrictions and an awareness of guests’ travel planning requirements are the most important considerations for planning a destination wedding.

Money is tight in a waning economy, making a Caribbean wedding seems like a pipe dream, right? ‘Not so fast’ is the general consensus of destination wedding planners. While a ceremony in Jamaica may sound cost-prohibitive, consider that the very makeup of these far-away weddings can actually save the happy couple considerable sums of money. For example, there is no need to rent venues for the big day that will accommodate hundreds of guests – most of whom the couple may not know personally. Cutting down on the guest list and eliminating the need for costly venue rentals are actually the hallmarks of the destination wedding. Planners point out that it is this feature that translates into more service for far less money.

Marriages, specifically those in a far off location – can be far more memorable for the couple than the normal celebration called to mind by most of us. Cookie cutter celebrations – timed perfectly to make room for the next couple’s setup at the church and reception hall – require ample funds but truly do not provide as much enjoyment as the couple deserves on their special day. It actually makes sense to handpick the closest friends and family members that would make the nuptial celebration complete, invite them to an amazing location, revel in the backdrop of an azure ocean and gently swaying palm fronds as vows are exchanged, and then seamlessly switch from bride and groom to honeymooning couple.

Choosing a destination (wedding planners specializing in this kind of celebration can help), creating a guest list and then evaluating the available budget all make sense for the couple ready to leave the status quo behind. Of course, there is the potential for pitfalls. Foreign locales have their own rules when it comes to entering into legal marriages. Paperwork that might be foreign to the couple must be filed with plenty of time to spare, so as to ensure that no last-minute snags hold up the marriage ceremony.

In addition, making arrangements for flowers, the cake, a dinner or buffet and of course travel accommodations is all done long-distance. It is this very potential for miscommunication that makes the big day outside the country somewhat worrisome for many couples.

There is no need to worry; destination wedding planners generally limit their businesses to locales in which they are well-versed in the idiosyncrasies and customs. These industry insiders very likely already have some professional contacts in place. This ensures that even for weddings in Jamaica or other locations in the Caribbean, the brides and grooms can purchase decorations as well as the other odds and ends sight-unseen without fretting. In fact, wedding planners who have been in the business for any period of time usually have a number of packages available from which clients may choose. This ensures that each couple gets a wedding experience suited to their budget and expectations – no cookie cutters allowed.

BRIDES THIS IS FOR YOUR DAD

FATHER OF THE BRIDE WEDDING SPEECHES –

As the father of the Bride, you already have a lot of responsibility on your plate: not just on your Trinidad wedding day itself, but in the days and weeks that lead up to the event.

Aside from all the organization and orchestration of the wedding and reception details, your number-one duty is to provide your daughter with a solid shoulder to lean upon as her Trinidad wedding day approaches. This is your time to really be her rock – you’re the one she’ll be turning to when things get a little chaotic (as they undoubtedly will do!)

On top of all these caring, altruistic responsibilities, there’s also the not-so-small matter of keeping yourself sane and as stress-free as possible.

And when you’re expected to make a speech that’s warm, witty, significant, meaningful, and funny – in front of all the people who really matter to you, your family, your new son-in-law, and (most importantly) your daughter, that’s a pretty big ask.

This is where Father of the Bride Trinidad Wedding Speeches: How to be Witty and Well Prepared comes in: a comprehensive how-to guide by Dan Stevens, experienced public speaker and speech-writer extraordinaire, to writing and delivering the funniest, most eloquent speech of the day.

This handbook has been designed and written specifically to meet the precise needs of the Father of the Bride. It deals with all his traditional and contemporary responsibilities on the day itself and in the time leading up to it: not just the crafting, preparation, and delivery of the speech, but everything you need to know to be the most well-informed, supportive, and confident Father of the Bride that you possibly can be!

SO WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE BOOK?

This is a pretty detailed guide: there’s a lot of information that’s covered. Let’s take a look at the contents.

In Father of the Bride Wedding Speeches: How to be Witty and Well Prepared you get:

Immediate access to 20 professionally-written, top quality speeches designed explicitly for the Father of the Bride. These speeches have been written in a manner that enables you to piece together the parts that you like, creating your very own, personalized speech which perfectly suits your individual occasion – and what’s more, they’re officially guaranteed to be adaptable to any situation.

Over 100 witty, top-quality toasts for you to insert into your speech

Detailed, easy-to-follow instructions on how to create your own individual speech from scratch

The complete how-to for delivering your speech like a professional: all the tips and practical advice you need to look and sound great when it really counts!

The complete protocol and etiquette for the Father of the Bride: all the information necessary for you to fulfil your duties, so you can relax in your role as both a supportive father and a gracious host – who’s never at a loss for the right thing to say or do

A complete, no-questions-asked 100% money back guarantee: if you’re not completely satisfied with your speech-making package, you have a full eight weeks to request your complete refund

WHAT MAKES IT PARTICULARLY GOOD?

Something that’s guaranteed to please is the fact that the book is laid out in such an easy-to-read, mistake-proof format. It seems as though Dan really understands what it’s like to be the Father of the Bride – that there’s little time for poring over densely-written, complex speech-making encyclopedias and 1,000 page Read-Me’s.

A pleasant contrast to the other products on the market, the user-friendliness of this book means that it can be read and absorbed in one night (as is attested to by several of the more-than-impressive testimonials on the book’s site).

Even those Fathers of the Bride who waited until the night before the wedding to prepare their speech still received standing ovations from the wedding crowd (again, you have to read those testimonials to believe it!) …

In all seriousness though, being the Father of the Bride is a large responsibility encompassing hundreds of specific duties both minor and major. Dan Stevens recognizes that it’s not always possible to spend the necessary time in thinking about and preparing your speech – so he’s done it all for you, by creating a speech-making package that’s not only designed specifically for the Father of the Bride, but has been designed to be easily and quickly readable and absorbable. In short, it doesn’t take much in terms of time or effort to put the information contained within this book to good use!

Something else that really ensures every last base is covered is the private email consultation with Dan: for no added charge, Internet customers (who purchase the instantly-downloadable online book, as opposed to the hard copy) receive an individual and personal consultation with Dan Stevens himself. If you have any questions, want more professional advice, or even just some feedback on your speech notes, simply write him an email and get your own personalized reply straight from the horse’s mouth.

AND YOU GET BONUS BOOKS, TOO!

Yes, there’s even more …

As well as all the information covered above, you also get three whole bonus books for free:

Unstoppable Confidence Audio Program: this is a downloadable audio track that’s been put together by a professional hypnotherapist – designed to help even the most petrified potential speech-maker, all you have to do is just put on your earphones and watch your confidence sky-rocket.

Jokes, Quotes, and One-Liners This book has over 100 of the funniest jokes to paste into your speech – you’ll have them falling out of their chairs with some of these! Guaranteed to inject hilarity into any wedding speech.

Classic and Contemporary Sample Toasts : no matter what style of wedding you’re having, there’s a toast in here to augment it – whether it’s formal, casual, or somewhere in between.

ALL IN ALL

This handbook really does cover it all: it’s got everything you need to give a great speech, handle yourself with confidence, keep the wedding day running smoothly, ensure your daughter’s feeling relaxed and happy as she prepares to embark on her new life, and – last but not least! – manage to actually enjoy yourself at the same time!

You can’t put a foot wrong once you’ve read this book: a must-have for any Father of the Bride at your Trinidad wedding.

If you enjoy travelling and seeing new destinations, I advocate a cruise. I have cruised the Mediterranean and the Baltic and my next cruise will be a Caribbean cruise. I am genuinely looking forward to it. If you have never been on a cruise, start saving up now, because it is luxury like you have never imagined before.

Never having been on a Caribbean cruise before, I do not know how much the various Caribbean islands differ from one another, so I do not know how varied that cruise would be. However, I have cruised the Med and the Baltic and woken up to a different country every day and in both of those seas and every country is very different from its neighbours.

On our Baltic cruise we left from Southampton and steamed to Gothenburg in Sweden. From there we went to Helsinki and Leningrad (in those days). On the way back, we called into Copenhagen and the Tivoli Gardens. None of those countries was in any way similar to another or even Britain.

Similarly, my Mediterranean cruise left from Minorca in north eastern Spain going east to Sardinia and then north along the southern coast of Europe. Italy, France and Spain. The second week of the cruise left Minorca again and went to Sicily and then south along the northern coast of Africa including Malta.

The luxury on a cruise is practically indescribable to someone who has never been on a cruise. There is no standard higher than five stars, but the cruises I have been on offered superior levels of luxury than any five star hotels I have stayed in anywhere in the world.

Food and shore trips play a major part of cruising. The food is top notch with no mistake. Breakfast on a cruise liner is better than most Americans and most Europeans have for dinner. Whatever you want from prawns to steak, from exotic fruit to porridge. Lunch and dinner are even more sumptuous.

Shore excursions are well organized too. They include a ferry from the cruise liner to the shore and then a coach trip by a local firm to the location, which could be an historical site or a shopping mall. Most cruisers go on these trips, but some prefer to stay on board and take advantage of the reduced number of passengers and the free food.

I went on every shore excursion and thoroughly enjoyed each one. The excursions are usually pricey though, but you are part of a trapped audience, so what can you expect?

I thoroughly recommend a cruise holiday to any and every one. You should go at least once in your life, but do not leave it until late in your life because you will want to go again.

St Croix, in the US Virgin Islands in the Caribbean has been a stylish honeymoon location for newly married couples for decades, because the weather there is bright all year round and you can enjoy any number of wonderful holiday activities together.

Things to do include hiking, exploring, taking tours, horse riding, water sports like diving or sailing or just and lying in the sun. However, in the past few years, it has also become very popular to travel to St Croix for the actual wedding ceremony itself, not just for the honeymoon. However, there are both advantages and disadvantages to getting married abroad.

First, you have to think about who you want to have there at your wedding. St Croix is regulated by American law, so you will be required to have a certain number of witnesses. You can use local volunteers but you may not be able to envisage your wedding without your family or your best friends being there.

It is worth remembering that every guest you want to be at your wedding will have to be flown to the island and in many instances, the guests will not be able to afford this trip themselves, which means that you will have to pay for all or at least some of the cost of the flight and the stay. If you cannot afford this, it may not be possible for you to have everyone there at your wedding ceremony that you would want. The cost of a Caribbean wedding on St Croix is a distinct disadvantage.

Remember also that you will almost certainly be spending your honeymoon wherever you hold the wedding and although it may be nice to have friends and family around you for the wedding, you might wish they would disappear for the honeymoon.

However, your guests may want to take a vacation while they are in the Virgin Islands, so if you want some time to yourselves, book them into a package holiday deal which will keep them occupied in order to give you some breathing space. Try to make a block booking and look for a big discount.

However, one of the main advantages is that you are already in the location where you will be honeymooning. Travel is stressful and tiring, although St Croix, USVI is less than 1,300 miles from Florida, so being on the spot for your honeymoon will spare you all that.

Not only that though, your marriage ceremony will be an even more unforgettable event because an idyllic beach setting with a sunset background is really very moving. Most couples adore the island scenery, so a Caribbean wedding in St Croix may be just right for you.

When planning your marriage in St Croix, remember that the US Virgin Islands are a legal part of the USA, so US laws and marriage laws relate there. You also do not have to have a passport to go to St Croix, although you are allowed $1,600 worth of duty free goods per person per 30 days. This can make up quite a saving.

The picturesque Vieques, Puerto Rico resort where Ashley Smith vacationed with family, seemed like the perfect place to marry her then boyfriend, Greg Bouzianis. Unfortunately, the resort had been leveled since her trip to the island. Little did this couple know that starting their destination search from scratch would lead to a life-altering move.

Greg candidly admits that Ashley encourages him to take more risks and to venture outside his comfort zone. An avid traveler, Ashley grew-up vacationing in the Caribbean. “But we never thought that would land us living on an island more than 2200 miles from home,” says Greg of the couples’ recent move from Dallas to St. Croix.

Greg secretly traveled nearly 500 miles from Dallas to Kansas City, Mo. to propose, a mere hour from where the couple met attending The University of Kansas. A careful plan involving family and friends ensured that Ashley would be dressed-up and out to dinner, leaving her downtown loft vacant. Greg along with his brother and sister in-law covered every square inch of her place with red roses and petals. Enlarged, black-and-white photos taken throughout the couple’s courtship floated from the ceiling, as their song played in the background. City lights glowed through the fourteenth floor windows.

Ashley’s friend and neighbor Justin “accidentally” dropped food on his shirt during dinner and had to go change, before they attended a party on the rooftop terrace of her building. Ashley unsuspectingly took the elevator up alone to take her dog outside before the event. “I remember gasping when I walked in,” says Ashley. She followed a path lined by flickering white candles and found Greg on one knee at the end. “I had been pacing and rehearsing my speech,” says Greg.

He then gave Ashley “a gorgeous Tacori diamond and platinum engagement ring,” she says. Greg confessed to help from his brother and sister in-law, saying the two were waiting to celebrate at a favorite restaurant down the street. Just as she thought the surprise was complete, Ashley entered the restaurant to find more than 30 friends, some from states away, waiting to give her a surprise engagement party. “Some of my girlfriends admitted to avoiding me for the month before, because they were afraid to slip and say something that would spoil the surprise!” says Ashley.

Ashley and Greg met in the summer of 2006, after her college graduation and before the start of his final semester. Just weeks shy of her relocation to Kansas City for a graduate internship turned first job, the two found themselves out with friends at the same Lawrence, Kan. restaurant and bar. “We spent most of the evening talking with each other,” says Greg. The couple went on their first date days later, enjoying dessert and a movie together. “We figured out that between mutual friends and extra-curricular involvements, we had been passing one another for four years,” says Ashley. “I can’t believe I almost moved without meeting him.”

One year after, the couple started planning their wedding. “I had a beach wedding in mind early on,” says Ashley. After learning a family favorite resort on Vieques no longer existed, the couple began researching neighboring Caribbean islands. A “scouting trip” to St. Croix and St. Thomas one year before the wedding, confirmed that St. Croix was “more our style.” The couple specifically “fell in love” with Carambola Beach Resort & Spa, where photographer Kelly Greer took their engagement pictures.

Carambola was created to celebrate the unspoiled beauty of the Caribbean by Laurence Rockefeller in 1986. The design of the resort was inspired by the cultural heritage and history of St. Croix and the Virgin Islands, according to the Carambola Web site. “We wanted to host our wedding at a place that reassured our guests they had traveled many miles for good reason,” says Greg. “Carambola has it all.”

With a Valentine trip to St. Croix in February to address details, the couple returned to the island for their April wedding. Upon arrival, guests were greeted with welcome bags filled with decadent, local treats like chocolates from Steele’s Smokes and Sweets and bottles of Cruzan Rum. Guests were invited to Carambola Beach for a sandcastle building contest to get-to-know one another. That evening, the wedding party enjoyed a sushi dinner at Dashi and wine at Zebo’s in Christiansted. “All but one of our 30 guests were new to St. Croix,” says Greg. “So we enjoyed showing them the hidden gems we had found on the island.”

As certified scuba divers, the couple arranged for guests to try the sport in the resort pool, followed by a shore dive off Carambola Beach the day before the wedding. Later that day, all were invited to the Tibet Room, which was converted into a movie theatre for the occasion. Greg surprised guests with two videos – one of his proposal to Ashley captured by hidden cameras, and a montage of pictures from childhood and the couple’s time together, set to meaningful music. Following, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner in conjunction with Carambola’s pirate buffet, where traditional mocko jumbies performed. The morning of the wedding, the mother of the bride hosted a bridal brunch at the Mahogany Restaurant.

As family and friends arrived at the oceanfront wedding site, program fans personalized with their names waited on bamboo chairs. The tiffany blue, ivory and platinum color palette was reflected in accent ribbon, the silk neckties of five groomsmen, and silk dresses in varying silhouettes worn by five bridesmaids. As music from a trio of wind instruments played, Ashley was presented in a cream couture wedding gown, carrying a bold bouquet of purple orchids. Greg awaited her under an arc of palm leaves, ginger and orchids designed by Antilles Lilies. His leather sandals paired with a taupe linen suit, set the tone for this beach casual wedding. Greg was aligned by groomsmen wearing complementary white button-down shirts and khaki pants.

Officiant Rodney Koopmans of St. Croix Reformed Church recited a “personal ceremony the three of us collaborated on” says Ashley. Traditional and personally written vows were read by the couple, as well as scripture and book passages recited by their siblings. Rings custom made by Crucian Gold and traditional hook bracelets from Sonya’s Limited in Christiansted, were presented in a conch shell by the brother of the bride and exchanged by the couple. Photographer Quiana Duncan captured key moments for the bride and groom, alternating between color and black-and-white digital photographs.

Guests returned to Carambola’s Saman Terrace for cocktail hour and hors d’oeuvres, as they awaited the couple’s first appearance as husband and wife. Their entrance was followed by first dances and the cutting of the bride’s cake. The two-tiered red velvet cake enveloped cream cheese filling, covered with white chocolate icing and an assortment of detailed sugar seashells. The confection was created by Pastry Chef Jennifer Jordan. The groom’s cake, inspired by his favorite dessert from the couple’s first date, included layers of chocolate cake and candy-filled strawberry gelato, crafted by Pastry Chef Dennis Gribbin of Starfish Patisserie.

At each place setting, guests were given metal luggage tags embossed with an ocean image, along their names and addresses added by a calligrapher. Guests settled-in for a four-course dinner prepared by Chef Bryan Sica, while a seven piece jazz ensemble lead by Stanford Joines provided musical entertainment. Champagne toasts were given by the groom, best man, maid of honor, and host father of the bride. At the end of the evening, the couple made their getaway down a grand marble staircase adjacent to the terrace, lined by groomsmen holding flaming tiki torches. A golf cart with a “just married” banner on the back whisked away the bride and groom to their elaborately decorated honeymoon suite.

A farewell brunch was held the day after to wrap-up the four days of wedding events. While the wedding experience provided “all that we wanted,” says Ashley, the couple wanted more of St. Croix. “We had a hard time leaving after our wedding,” says Greg. The couple relocated to the island several months later. Greg and Ashley currently reside in a home on the east end of St. Croix.

Buying platinum is now emerging as a fashion trend in some places; however it is a more expensive option. Any fancy ring is suitable for engagement purposes. The engaged wedding couple often chooses a birthstone or precious stone that carries special significance to them; the diamond still remaining by far the most popular.

Many young couples enjoy the idea of personal expression and choose to consult with a designer in creating their own personal message of love. Historically, the betrothal ring was a symbol of the bridegroom’s earnestness, a pledge of his good faith and evidence of his intention to marry. The ring that the bride received at the betrothal was generally used later at the wedding ceremony. After the Reformation, the betrothal was more formal and was often solemnized with the signing of the articles of marriage before a witness. The Romans were the first to present an engagement ring to the bride before the wedding ceremony, usually at the time the marriage contract was drawn up.

The Celts of ancient Britain developed a “love ring” that served as both wedding and betrothal ring. When a Celtic lad courted and won a girl he gave her a ring as a pledge of his protection. The old English word for pledge was ‘wed’, and this is how the name was given to wedding rings. Fascinating wedding rings have held the vogue throughout the years. In the sixteenth century the gimmel ring was popular. The word “gimmel” means “double ring”, and a gimmel ring was actually two separate rings that joined together to look like one. It was usual for the bride and groom to each wear half until, on the day of the wedding they were united as one upon the bride’s finger. Diamonds have long been accepted as the symbol of love and marriage. Somehow the glittering diamond and the blooming bride-to-be have always gone hand in hand. The diamond, the hardest substance in the world was traditionally used for the setting of the engagement ring. It is believed that the custom of wearing an engagement ring started as far back as 1477 when Archduke Maximillian of Austria slipped a huge diamond on the finger of Mary of Burgundy to prevent her father from marrying her off to a wealthier suitor. The Romans also had their part to play, for they wore wedding rings on the third finger of their left hand in the belief that its vein led straight to the heart.

After your wedding day, your honeymoon is one of the most memorable times of your life and so must certainly count as one of best holidays you will ever take. It is the start of a new life with the person you love. As such it is a good reason to visit somewhere you have always wanted to go, somewhere very special.

One of the most popular places for people to go to on a honeymoon is St Croix, The US Virgin Islands, in the Caribbean.

The Caribbean is the first preference for many newly weds for several reasons: the romance, the people are happy and welcoming, the sand, sea and sunshine, the food and the music. St Croix in the US Virgin Islands is one of the most well-liked destinations in the Caribbean islands.

St Croix has beautiful beaches and that perfect tropical climate that is so appropriate for a wonderful honeymoon. The hotels and the island’s inhabitants love to take care of newly weds and go out of their way to make sure that the honeymooners have the time of their lives – a holiday that they will remember affectionately for ever.

Cost is always a consideration when one is planning a honeymoon in the Caribbean, but you need not be too concerned on that front. A honeymoon on St Croix need not be costly and as it is only 1,300 miles from the USA, so travel costs and travel time are low.

You will not have trouble finding somewhere on the island to fit your desires. However, St Croix is a popular honeymoon destination, especially for Americans, so it is worth booking your honeymoon holiday as early as possible in order to secure the reservation that you want.

There are three main types of places to stay: a hotel, a vacation rental or a holiday home. The difference between a vacation rental and a holiday home is that the former is a condo or villa purpose built for holiday makers, whereas the holiday home is actually somebody’s house who has let it out for a short period.

When planning your honeymoon, you should think about when you will leave. It was traditional to leave for the honeymoon after a short reception on the day of the wedding, but many couples delay their departure date nowadays. Over the last few decades, it has become the standard to hold an extensive reception hours after the wedding, often at night. This will often go on until midnight or later, which makes leaving for foreign climes rather difficult. A hangover is not a good travelling companion either.

Therefore, you might want to put your departure date off until two days after the wedding, although I think that flying out on the wedding day is still the best idea. If you choose a holiday home or a vacation rental on St Croix, you will need to make all your own preparations for getting to the airport, flying to St Croix and getting a taxi from the airport to your place of stay, so I suggest that for this, your first visit to this beautiful island, you take a package tour, which will take care of you from your local airport to your hotel on St Croix and back again.

If you have never tried a Caribbean cruise as a vacation then it is time you tried, spending time touring some of the most beautiful islands anywhere. You can have everything you want with a different Caribbean island every day and all the wonderful evening entertainment of a resort on board the cruise liner. While short breaks are available, perhaps over a weekend period, the vast majority of passengers sail for seven days and sometimes in excess of fourteen but depends on how much you are willing to spend.

Sailing is an excellent way to enjoy yourself and this includes a person who just wants to send all day on board enjoying the entertainment to someone who can’t wait to explore all the new sights. You can guarantee the cruise liner company will have a package custom made to suit your needs as it is their job to ensure you have the best vacation ever.

Before making the trip, it is wise to find out more, so go to your nearest travel agent to find the right package, but you can also find comments and reviews online. Each Caribbean cruise will visit a certain number of islands on that particular voyage so you must decide if you want to visit certain islands like Jamaica, Bermuda, Bahamas or Antigua for example.

If your ideal cruise vacation includes partying by the beach or the deck pool, even at a disco well then choose a cruise with plenty of activities. While your travel agent can give more details, so can the Caribbean cruise liner website and information on the types of packages should be more in depth.

The main difference with this type of vacation is the number of changes of clothing you take with you as there is a greater opportunity to dress for evening functions. Women may want to take two or three evening dresses and men will need a tuxedo, they will probably get to wear it for a number of evenings.

There are also plenty of activities if you take your children along on a cruise vacation and they will probably burn off all their energy by the time the evening has ended. A wide variety of activities are planned for them so that you can spend the time to do what you like; trained staff will look after them so you can put your mind at ease while you are enjoying and relaxing with your spouse.

But Caribbean cruises can be for adults to and there are those that do not have children on board. Other cruise liner packages are available and have been created for special occasions like weddings, honeymoons and anniversaries.

The whole idea of a Caribbean cruise vacation is that you enjoy yourself and just let go for however long you are on board because it may be some time before you go again!
