St. Vincent and The Grenadines
MARRIAGE REQUIREMENTS
The following rules and guidelines apply to getting married in St. Vincent & The Grenadines:
Couples must be in the state of St. Vincent and the Grenadines for two (2) days before applying for a marriage license; therefore on the 3rd day.
Documents:
• Valid Passports
• Recent Birth Certificates (issued within last 6 months)
• Decree Absolute – If one or both parties are divorced
• Death Certificate – If widowed
The license is obtained through the Registrar’s Office in St. Vincent which is open Mondays through Fridays between 8:30am-3:00pm.
Couple must travel to St. Vincent for the license
Application forms are available at the Mustique Company Office
An official Marriage Officer, Priest or Minister registered in St. Vincent & The Grenadines must perform the marriage Ceremony.
Two (2) witnesses must be present at the marriage ceremony
Fee:
• Marriage License: US$185 obtainable 24 hours before the wedding from Ministry of Justice, or US$7.50 obtainable 7 days before the wedding from the Registry license
• US $5.52 Revenue stamp to be taken with application form to St. Vincent
• US $1.84 stamps for application form
