MARTINIQUE MARRIAGE REQUIREMENTS
The following rules and guidelines apply to getting married in Martinique:
Documents:
- Original birth certificate (or copy with raised seal)
- Notarized proof of single status
- Certificate of good conduct
- Residency card from immigration department issued upon arrival
- Medical certificate, including blood test issued within three months of marriage
French translation of all English documents is required.
Prior to the wedding ceremony one of the couple must have resided on the island for at least one month.
