Wearing a short wedding dress is gaining in both popularity and acceptance. Even though there was a time when many people would look down at a bride for such a choice, those days are pretty much over. Short wedding dresses can be far more comfortable than the traditional wedding gown. They are easier to move in, easier to walk and dance and meet and greet with your guests. Another reason brides choose short wedding dresses is because of their uniqueness. Many of your guests may have been to several weddings this season, but most of the brides they see will not be wearing a short gown. This alone inspires many brides to wear a shorter dress as she knows that she will make a statement and her guests will remember her and her wedding more than the other weddings they have been to lately.

Now we know why brides choose short wedding dresses, but are they acceptable. The truth is this style is becoming more and more acceptable. Will everyone love your choice? Probably not.
